Cantine Carpentiere, Comi d'Incanto 2022

Flag of Italy

The vineyards of Cantine Carpentiere grace the sun-kissed hills that surround Castel del Monte, the fortress built in the Puglia region by the Frederick II. Where the emperor once hunted in the company of his falcons, today loving care goes into tending to a generous land that yields rich, healthy vines whose grapes are used to make top-quality, authentically Puglian wines. Comi d'Incanto 2022 is a "Bianco de Nero", i.e. white wine made with a red grape, Nero di Troia. Like its red counterpart, this wine is powerful and assertive. The delightfully rich, complex nose combines citrus and bramble notes with hints of quince and icing sugar, complemented by a marked honey note. The palate is bold and rounded, with a pleasant mineral finish.
